java – How to set default URL and default name for URL with Tomcat .xml –

i have been digging around internet, , haven’t quite found solution problem. have tomcat server servlet in src folder. in web folder have web-inf folder web.xml file. have couple jsps , html file in web folder.

i trying have, when launch tomcat server, default show:

you can ignore servlet mapping, i’m not trying worry right now. i’m trying

a) show url after local host, because right shows local host, loads html file.

b) show name of html file(maybe attribute can display?) without html extension.

i appreciate help, pointers reference material because i’m having hard time finding reference material web.xml file.
